You lucky ****.... mine dings like its goin out of style.... freaking annoying when I'm just driving from the mailbox to the garage lol
Probably not from doing the oil change. Might have a blown fuse or something. I havn't read the manual to figure out how to turn it off.

Anyways, you are really lucky

I agree with fullmetalpanic that you might have blown a fuse or something that activates the alarm but, what's the point in fixing it?

Well the seatbelt trigger is located in the locking mechanism where you fasten your belt. Perhaps something got lodged in there before your oil change and you didn't notice until after? I mean... it isn't logicial that the seatbelt warning buzzer would go bad from an oil change.

Either way... I nominate this for the Greatest Glitch of the Month!

nope nothing in the seat belt, already checked that.... i tried even putting on the seat belt and taking it off while driving on the highway and left it off for the rest of the ride... still nothing. if dealership finds out about the glitch and fix it, im going to be like wtf? how did u even find out about it in the first place? what does your employees dont put their seat belts on when they get into a car??? and ill just say i dint even know bout it cause i used the set belt from day 1.....

its like i never had a set belt reminder

My seat belt doesnt chime anymore as well, but that is also because the fuse probably blew lol. I can thank my dad on that one (blew my side view mirrors buttons as well). To my guess its a blown out fuse. If you dont want the noise find out which one it is and take it out. But you didn't hear it from me :P

At least you got 5 days of happiness :)

I'm telling you though, all you gotta do is pop open the holster where your seatbelt plugs in and short out the two connectors. This will trick the car into thinking that your seatbelt is actually plugged in ;)

Although I've never tested it, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.
