:57: I want to know if the 4M40-T 2.8 L works with an ECU (engine control unit), I just iniciated the swat of the 3.5 gas engine of a 2002 montero sport 4X4, i am putting the 4m40 turbo diesel with an 4X4, 30-40 Le automatic transmission, i need to know if the ECU is required or if the injeccion pump is mecanical and the ECU is not required and olso if the old TCU (transmission control unit) will work with the new tranny; the old trasmission was 5 speed and the new one is just 4.
