Sup guys? I'm new here and I'm really excited about purchasing a Lancer.

However, I have a question concerning the navigation system. From what I can gather the biggest advantage of Mitsubishi's Navigation system is that it uses hard drive instead of DVD which makes for faster navigation loading speeds. That being said how do you guys feel about Mitsubishi's particular navi system?

I am torn because I don't know if I should just buy the navigation option or get my own on the side. I researched and I've found other hard drive based navi systems for cheaper but I don't know if they fucntion as well as Mitsubishi's. I was basically trying to see if I can save money by opting out of the navi option and just buying my own and having it installed. I'm no car expert so I don't know which is the by resolution for my dilemma.

How do you guys feel about your navi systems? Is it worth the price tag or would I be better off getting my own?

Thanks in advance.

Hi guy,
To be honest,I have a little comfusing about your post.Talking about the GPS(navigation)of the DVD player.Do you mean you need one?recently, many DVD player with GPS.and the price are very cheap. You just buy a DVD player with a small monitor with GPS function.. Maybe you should have a try on the internet..
