My car has blue smoke going on... it only does it after sitting for a minute idling like when Im at a stoplight and then when I accelerate thats when the smoke comes out. Anyone have any idea which issue this would be? It sorta sputters too but idk if thats the same problem. It probably needs spark plugs too for one thing. Valves maybe? idk. Thanks for any help :)

Press the gas to the floor in gear and if while accelerating it back fires, misses, stutters, jolts, jerks, change the plugs and wires.

K... yeah it sputters some. today I changed the front 3 plugs and wires (yeah the old ones were crappy) and tomorrow I will get the back ones. It looked like there may have been a little bit of ash deposit on the sparkplugs and when I opened up the compartment to get to where the spark plugs are at there was a little oil in there....

Also I dunno if this could be part of my problem... the auto parts store gave me the wrong oil for my car--- 10w-30 is what i need according to my owners manual and autozone gave me 5w-30 and i put it in cuz I trusted they knew what i needed, but guess not lol.

tried to take a look att eh PCV valve while I was at it but it turns out I guess I dont know where it is at on this car...

The oil won't be part of the problem (more specifically the viscosity) going from a 10weight to a 5weight won't change much it just means the oil will be a bit thinner on cold start up. it will help however if you get lifter noise at startup.

I get white smoke.... mainly on start up.. it doesn't smoke under load or under heavy acceleration. just when im idling and give it a bit of gas.
