I HAVE A 1999 ECLIPSE SPYDER WITH A ALARM PROBLEM. THE OTHER NIGHT MY ALARM WAS ACTIVATED. I HAD TROUBLE RESETTING IT THE KEY (DOOR OR IGNITION) OR THE REMOTE WOULD NOT CLEAR IT. NOW ALL SEEMS WORKING CORRECTLY WITH THE ALARM EXCEPT I CAN'T START THE CAR. TRIED TO FIND INFO ON RESETTING THE SYSTEM. WHAT I DID FIND WAS ABOUT A RESET SWITCH. LOOKED FOR THE SAME BUT COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING ANYWHERE!!! CAN ANY ONE HELP????????????????????????????????

Try unlocking the door and then relocking it and unlocking it.

if nothing

get under the car and check the wires on the starter.

bang on the starter too. (not to hard but hard enough)

SENT 12V TO THE STARTER SOLENOID AND THE ENGINE STARTED. TRIED AGAIN TO START FROM THE IGNITION SWITCH AND IT WOULD NOT CRANK. PURCHASED ELECTRICAL DIAGRAMS BUT HAVING A HARD TIME FINDING THINGS, DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE THE STARTED RELAY IS LOCATED. ALSO WHICH RELAYS ARE LOCATED ON THE RELAY BOARD LEFT UNDER DASH AND THEIR POSITION ON THE BOARD?????

All caps is perceived as yelling.
