maybe no one had done that kind of swap. Unless you have a lot of money and nothing else to do. by all means go for it no one is stopping you but yourself from doing that kind of job.

yea but the upper right motor mount id the same as the 420a, but idk about the tranny mount....also i need to find better places and sites i can get erything i need...do u know any?

for the same amount of money and time you could build your 420a, turbo it and make 3X the amount of power. I don't mean this in a bad way or to be mean so please don't take it wrong, but if you want to swap to increase power you should consider a honda

If you are thinking about swapping, you may want to consider just putting in the 4g63 or 4g64

The 6a12 is the FTO engine, and although it is pretty sweet, and it was an amazing car, I don't see the point in doing it.

The FTO is an awesome car because:

1: It weighs in well under 3000 LBS
2: We dont have it in the US

anyone know where i can get a 420 block for a low price? i wanted a diffrent motor at 1st but i would have to make my eclipse awd, i can do it but it will take a lil longer to do so...

i looked at the yard n no blocks for an RS, but on ebay all i find is rebuilt blocks basically brand new motors i dont wanna waste parts cuh ima swap the pistons n stuff anyways
