Just some advise please, i have a shogun 1996 2.8td when i start it up it blows out a little black smoke (like soot) or when i put my foot down quickly, i have been told there is nothing wrong with it so why does this it happen?
I have replaced the glow plugs with an expensive set because at first i used cheap ones so i did learn my lesson and get a good set after 2 months when they went faulty..

Hi, This is quite normal even new diesels chuck out black smoke when they are floored. I made mine smoke a bit less by adding some veg oil in with the diesel "less black smoke lower emission's and smells like a barbie" Also quite legal to do now.
Regards Dazza.
