I didn't see any topic on this and wanted to see if anyone has a clue. I have an 07 Endeavor and tried to install HID's on it. Everything plugged up fine but when I started it and the DTRL's came on, they constantly flickered...almost like a strobe light. I then turned the lights all the way on and they were fine. I didn't want to be driving around with my lights on all the time and didn't want to be disco'ing it down the road either, so I looked into trying to bypass the DTRL's by simply pulling the fuse to them. Yea, no go...I pulled a couple of fuses that dealt with the DTRL and they didn't even turn them off.

Any insight to this situation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

the headlights only supply 80 percent of full power during the normal "DRL" usage... hence the reason for the flickering lights.

my suggestion is dont use HIDs, as theyre illegal anyway.

I figured the flickering was due to the DRL....I wanted to know if anyone knew how to bypass them, not if they were illegal. Thanks anyway.
