i recently installed my boost gauge which is working fine, but my check engine light is lit. i cant figure out why, any ideas?

the two should have no connection what so ever, unless you installed it wrong. did you hook up the vaccuum hose to the throttle body or somewhere else?

like i said, no connection unless done wrong.

like he said, check your connections. if the light came on after you installed the guage there is probably a vacuum/boost leak in the connections or gauge

i don't think that would bring on the light. i blew off my T connection on my gst and the light didn't come on.
