I have a 91 Eclipse GS. I bought some fog lights a while back and now finally have the time to install them. I have them mounted, but I've run into a rather LARGE snag. For the life of me, I can not find a path to route the wiring to the dashboard for the switch. I know that there has to be some wiring path that I can use and I really don't want to try drilling my own like the instructions say I should. I already have pretty much the ENTIRE front interior including the dashboard removed at this point and I am quickly running out of patience. Any help would be more than greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

first of all to avoid damaging any electrical equipment if you have to end up drilling a hole in your car. drill one in your floor board, not your firewall. that is the dumbest thing i have ever seen on instructions for running electrical wires through to your cabin.

second, if you can take your front fender panel off do that, then run the wires in your faming there. there should be a hole to run into your cabin without drilling holes.

third, why even hook a stupid toggle switch up to them? why not use some splice jumping connectors. you take the two wires put them in the plastic clip and push the metal spikes through the plastic insulation on the wires. jump them onto your low beam head light wires. POOF you have fog lights on every time you turn on your head lights.

now if your looking for stealth mode for ditching cops. i however do not condone illegal behavior like that. speeding, yeah ok thats fine, but ditching out on a cop. thats frickin jail time bra! big time NO GO BRO!

A 12V source switch shouldn't be that hard to find a way to route to the dash without drilling.
Drilling in the firewall isn't necessarily bad but can be if you don't know what you're doing.
Just check check and recheck and check again where you will be drilling and use a grommet of the proper size to protect the wire.

Thanks for the replies guys, but I've already finished. I just spliced them to my corner lights so that when I turn on my head lights like you said bullet, my fog lights come on too. And btw, stealth was not my main concern.... I'm not looking to be ruinning from cops since jail time would kinda kill my future career as a law enforcement officer... Thanks anyway.
