has anyone painted with satin clear coat? ive seen a few cars that were black with a matte or satin finish and was wondering if anyone had any information on it?

is it hard to make look good, im sure its not your basic maaco paint job, but how expensive is it?

black will cost the most out of everything. it shows every imperfection and is hard to get perfect. plain black will start at around $1k for the paint job( if you dont want a maaco job). it will look very good if it is done right. i would take it to a shop that specializes in paint and body, but stay away from big corporations. just shop around and ask to see samples of their work( not pictures though).
