I got in my car today and the mat where the pedals are the carpet was WET. I don't think it was rain because it smells HORRIBLE! Anyone have any idea to what this could be?

My friend has also told me that my heater core was either broken or its gone bad. Would that have anything to do with it?

Where do you live? Using the AC yet?

It's most likely water and the smell is in result of the dirt in the carpet and any mold/mildew underneath. Sprinkle baking soda all over the carpet to neutralize the odor and use a good vacuum and get everything up. Try to trace out the source of the water and fix whatever it is.

Obviously - we can't tell you in the blind.

South Carolina, yeah using the AC already. Oh, I hope it's not a coolant leak or something. That's why I sold my Grand AM....
