I'm starting to worry about this melting issue aswell.

I'm using Luminics H11's in my fog lights, they're sweet but the only thing

that's bothering me is that my fogs are yellow and my turn signals are orange. (doesn't like good if you ask me)

I don't know how to go about changing them though and I've also been thinking about HID's for low beams.

ADVICE PLEASE!

Actually the low beams are 51w, it's the fogs that are 55w. They are not the same. I'm thinkg about the luminics Hyper White bulbs in my low-beams. But I can't seem to find their output anywhere on the website. Does anybody know their output and if they produce more heat than stock?

ok so im an electrician and this talking of overloading the lighting circuits causing them to melt got me to explain why... from an electricians point of view, so first off those thicker guage adapters arent really a plausible solution to the problem, because the wiring going to them is still a smaller guage of wire not made to handle the wattage going to the bulb, so really instead of it melting right at the bulb check where the harness connects the thinner wires to the thicker wires to see if that is now melting instead because that would be where you would be having problems now. also the lights if they are rated at 80 watts and are put into a 55w circuit the circuits are not current limited, meaning that the lights will still try to draw 80w which causes the heating because the wires are not thick enough to carry that much current. hope this helps someone coming from a electricians point of view on the subject, also it may not be 100% correct but from what i understand it would make the most sense as to why this happens and why i dont think those adapters are a good choice
