Here's the link

http://autocityimports.com/2008-mitsubishi...div-p-8001.html

I'm new to some of the termonology, this looks like a header back exhaust to me? I'm I reading it wrong or could the picture be wrong?

Also, was this the exhaust melting people's bumpers or was that the ingen?

Its an axle-back.

And yes this was the one which was burning parts of the bumper around the tip. Stay away from the first release, while GReddy works on the revision.

Thanks Karan, I've been looking at exhausts all day, trying to decide what I like. I really liked the greddy to bad it causes problems, hopefully they will have a revision by august when I plan on ordering something.

$336? That's almost $100 off of the retail price... I need to find the dyno specs on it. I've only liked the sound on the Works Exhale, but $37 more for a cat-back? Maybe I can learn to like the GReddy :bwekk:

BACK ON TOPIC...

GReddy said that they will ship out the new hangers when they are available to all those who bought the units that melt bumpers for free... or so I have heard.

the Greddy exhaust is actually a Cat-Back exhaust. And Greddy has fixed the problem and issued longer hangers to stop the melting issue

Edit: That site says its Axel back, now i am confused

the nearest flange to the catconverter is by the rear axle. So technically it is a catback, however in reality its an axle-back

Injen just released an axleback exhaust, so this may be something to consider:

I was wondering why Greddy's site advertised it as a cat-back...

+1 Crypto. Glad I'm one of your customers

Wow, this topic really picked up, I'm still waiting for greddy to release a V2 or something.

Mitsu_Fizzle: There is a topic on here somwhere from a Greddy rep talking about the new hangers, he said if you call him he can send them out. I'll try to find it for you.

Ok, I looked but can't find it, it was title something like "greddy test fit" and in that topic the rep talked about the new hangers. It was either here or over at another forum, not sure if I can mention it but it refers to evo's and M's

Yeah. I know about the thread. Its in general.
I called the rep, gave him my info... called and called.
He told me they would inform me and send out when they were ready.

I havent received the extended rubber hangers.... nor have I heard back from GReddy about it being circulated.
Just wondering if anyone has ACTUALLY gotten it yet.... well, has anyone? :puzzled:

It doesnt come with a cat and piping and you install it from the axle back... common sense tells me then it is truely a axle back.
