The aerial on my 1998 Shogun/Pajero has packed in. I've found an aftermarket replacement but am struggling to find instructions on how to remove the old one.
By the looks of it, the side panel needs to come off (?)

A few questions:

How easily does the side panel come off? Are special tools required?
It is screws only or are there plastic clips?
Does the mud shield over the wheel need to come off too?
How is the aerial mounted? Can the fixings be reused?
Are there any special tricks or bits of advice to be aware of from experience?

Any advice would be appreciated

Many thanks

remove the tires, remove the mudshield (black Plastic), unscrew the base of the aerial( top of the fender), inside the fender there are 2 bolts (i think). just remove them, unplug the aerial cable from the back of the head unit. unplug the power cable that controls up and down and slide it down and your done.

Doesnt sound too tricky and a lot better than taking the side off...I'll try it tomorrow. Thanks
