Hey guys,I am new here. I have a buddy that wants me to do the Timing belt on his Wifes 01 Mirage. Are there any good articles out there on this? I have done timing belts on alot of SOHC and DOHC Honda Civics but not familer with Mitsubishi.

I read somewhere that you had to have a special tool to re-time the engine..someone else said you didn't. I would think the timing marks would be on teh sprockets.

Only other real area of concern is the Crank Pulley Bolt..I bought a special tool to lock the crankpulley still on Civics so you can break the bolt loose. I have done google searches on the timing belt information..How to on a 1.8 SOHC mirage but can't find anything worth a ****. Any input?
