hello all,

have a question. We have a 2003 lancer ES base model 2.2l (i believe) with the 4 speed auto.

Is there a filter inside the tranny? will i have to remove the tranny pan or is it only a screw on external filter.

its a 2.0 liter, and no, there is no serviceable filter for the transmission.

you merely drain and fill.
