Coolant lines, no coolant lines.

every turbo needs oil. some superchargers are lubricated internally by a "resovoir" and don't require oil lines but it is essential for turbos.

ball bearing turbos are very expensive and their benefits are usually longer life, no coolant lines necessary like EMC said and quicker spool time

They are really expensive and usually crank out some serious HP. The t3/t4 turbo is prolly one of the most common ball bearing turbos out there

Too much power? Not enough power? Too fast a spool? too slow? Let us know so we can suggest something else

well i would like to get about 300 - 350 at the wheels. right now im just looking for something to bolt on due to a small budget. im changing the i/c to a front mount instead of the side mount and getting a 2 1/2" turbo back exhaust. i want enough power without rebuilding the whole engine. how much hp can the 4g63 hold up to with stock internals.

Ive heard stock internals can hold around 500hp. For that hp goal, why not go with a fp 20g? Has decent spool, of course you will need all the supporting mods with it, like any turbo upgrade.

a 20g is overkill for that. The evo iii 16g is "rated" at 350 hp.
Look at a few of the garrett 50 trim +. Those will take you to 350 pretty easily.

stock internals can hold ~400hp safely.
