Question, Have an 02 OZ Rally that has the 0421 error with a check engine light. Replaced the O2 sensor, no change. Currently have 95,000 miles. The dealer states the CAT was only covered to 80,000 miles, and we're out of luck. I have heard the CAT was covered under warranty till 100,000.
Who can I contact about this?? Can I force the dealer to honor the CAT replacement with over 90K miles?
Any suggestions are appreciated.. Thanks

I called the Mitsubishi Service Dept. and read them the info you gave me. They scheduled me to come in and get it fixed.
My son and I took it in, and they replaced the Exhaust Manifold Assy. (CAT built in to the Exhaust Manifold?) No more SES indicator or 421 error.
Don't think they liked doing it for no charge, but they did it anyhow.
THANK YOU we appreciate all your help.
