eclipses have HUGE gaps between the fenders and the wheels.. with a 2" drop 17's or 18's would look the best. I have 17's with 205/50ZR17 tires and there is about a 3" gap between my fenders and the top of my tires. so with 17's lowering it 2" would mean u would still have about a 1" gap. 18's would have no gap.

18 for show, 17 for more performance. 18s look better, but also adds alot more weight for your car to get going.

18's for looks, and the tire i would say 225/35 or even 30, but, if you are gonna use it in the streets you might need 225/40 because that way you will have a little more protection for the rims if you hit a bump

Just remember your speedo will be off accordingly with larger wheels.

Comes stock with 16" rims and a 50 sidewall tire. Go with the 17" and a 40 sidewall and your speedo will still be close. Cant go too wide in the front tho not much room there. Drops always make a car look better :P

the largest i would go is 18 in. rims and a 225/40/ZR18 tire. like it was said earlier the gap in the wheel well is large and it will have plenty of room for the 18's.
