I've got the gdi (98) and i've it never starts when the key is turned first, but always kicks off on the second attempt. As yet I've not done anything with it, it has the same idle problem discussed in one of the other threads. If i get it sorted, the car is due a visit to the garage, i'll let you know

got the stp injector cleaner last week, it goes in a full tank of petrol, and my motor is starting much better since. only cost about €7 so I'm well impressed
