Short run yes Long run no. The kit is cheap but the bottles are not also as you know there is a great deal of risk involved when using the Hot Sauce.
The Turbo is far more gentle than the Hot Sauce on your motor.

Nitrous is only going to make your engine blow up if you dont know what you're doing, same as a turbo or supercharger.
It is a cheap mod that yields gains comperative to $$$^ worth of other stuff.
Has anyone tried it or have any factual examples of why not to do it or is it what you heard....?

I have seen people with 3g eclipses run nos and blow the intake manifold apart.

You may want to get that replaced with a 1g/2g manifold before you do it, but other than that you should have no problems.

Is that the GS manifold and are you sure that the 1g/2g manifold fits?

The construction of the intake manifold on the 4g63 engine is better than that of the 4g64 and 6g72. It is stronger and better designed.

i don't think anyone really hung you for saying it,(me included) nos is normally a bad application to run constantly with.

if you are looking for a temporary solution to lack of power though i don't see that much harm in it. keep in mind i said temporary! too much use, really will screw you internals up, new intake manifold or not. i have not met a modifying enthusiast that has ran nos without having to rebuild his engine after 6 months of use. granted they use their nos every single weekend for 1/4 mile runs, but still is shows the result to be the same.

after a certain amount of use built up engine or not. you will have to rebuild your engine.

i personally am bottle fed victories, but if you use it sparingly you should be ok for a while.

Okay, to set you people that watch to much fast and the furious in place... ive been running a ZEX nitrous kit for months, and i did a piss pour job putting it togeather... a used kit 55 shot on a v6 and i picked up my quarter mile time from 15 seconds flat to 14.7 seconds... like i said ive been using it for months as long as you insure your not running lean YOUR FINE!

Like Marine said it is safe as long as you have the fuel to back it up.

Will an adjustable fuel pressure regulator accomplish my fuel needs?
I also will/would use it sparingly as I cant afford to always refill the tank...throttle position switch on the butterfly would allow me to run equal so long as I had fuel in the tank while the swith was armed.
