currently i have like an orange color dashboard lights, i hate them so much lol it doesn't match anything. i need some tips on how to change them and where to get the bulbs from to replace them. i was thinking probably a blue color.
here, follow the link and see if you like these. http://cgi.ebay.com/i705-00-05-MITSUBISHI-...1QQcmdZViewItem make sure you get ones for your car though 00-05 eclipse manual trans or automatic trans. whichever it is. also you can always google glow gauges for your car. type 00-05 Mitsubishi Eclipse glow gauges and click search.
yeah no problem, and i think you don't even need to change your bulbs. the bulbs you have are not colored your gauge numbers and letters are whats colored that pukey yellowish tan. the light bulbs are white.

Usually you just pull out the whole speedo and tach assembley thing, pop off the plastic cover and just start unscrewing from the back. It's really easy the only thing you need is a screwdriver just try to have a little bit of a smaller one cause the screws on there are pretty small.

Listen it's just screws. Just look at it there's like somewhere between 6 and 8 screws holding it all in place take them out, pop the speedo and all your gauges out from all the wires behind them and just unscrew that's it. Seriously just look at it. All the gauge is is just a little circular piece of plastic you just take each one off and replace it. Honestly if you can tie your own shoes you can do this. It'll take you half an hour to do it even if you have no idea how to do anything on a car. The only way you're gonna realize how easy it is is by actually doing it so just go out there and take a look.

it takes some time and alot of patience, you really dont want to break anything, its my first time doing this and the only thing i broke was the gas needle because it was hell getting it back on well it was for me. The instrument cluster takes alot of time if your gonna change the color because it has an orange film behind the gauge faces that you have to remove before you change the bulbs or whatnot. now if u just want to change the gauge faces and replace them with a different one, then there is a couple ways of doing it i heard that they can overlap the existing ones or you can take off the needles and put them on that way, im not really sure.

how do u change the the clock and temp control lights?
The clock you can just put a film over to change the color, the temp controls, there are just a few LED's behind them when you take off that plastic piece that sits around your vents and headunit.
