hi, does anyone knows where the fuel filter is located on the pajero io, also any ideas to help solve a rough idle problem

the fuel filter is loacated in the tank,pull up the rear seat and unscrew the pannel that is on the driver side,disconnect the hoses and wire,unscrew the 8 or so nuts,lift the unit out,the filter is at the top on the unit.

thanks, i have been there but thought that it was the fuel pump.

you see i have been eperiencing idle fluctuation when in drive, and after stopping 4 minutes later it goes away.

i have repalce the throttle body, vaccum, temp switch the problem still exist.

any suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated.

have you check that some of the lines are clog,the line coming going to the pvc,etc.
