so i fianlly get my car running after 3 months of blowing mpi fuses, and im driving it around the block so the computer 'learns' the car. the battery dies so i pull off the alternator get it tested it passes replace the alt. belt. and when i test it today a lot of
things dont work -
-the power windows
-the seatbelt doesnt slide back
-coolant light cel e-brake are all dimly lit
-battery voltage goes down by a .01 a second or so when its running

could this be a short behind the dash or could it be from anywhere?

edit:ecu is new

even though you got it tested, it sounds to me like yer alternator is to blame. those 3 dash lights dim up when the alternator is failing. if you are 100% positive its not tha alt, check all the connections coming off the alt; there might be a loose wire somewhere.
