Hi
about a month ago i replaced the clutch .. everything was ok until i tryed my car in 1/4 mile i placed it on 1st gear and accelerate about 4000 rpm's then just let go the clutch and there was just a big big vibration and sound so my mechanic diagnosed the car and told me its the ( tranny ) i've been looking to get a fast and not expensive solution ... is it better to just replace it or should we rebuild it ??

in any case were can I buy one ??

im in costa rica and we do not have any dealers for 3000gt's so any help or advice will be appreciated

regards chris

well

1st. how long after you got new clutch did u do the 1/4 mile?
lol sucks to have the gearbox die tho, one thing i never want to happen

as for getting a new one, surely you have a mitsubishi dealer somewhere?
they should be able to hook you up, from GETRAG in germany,
or a wreckers

People repair everything, these are repairable you just need to get the parts in order to do so which is hard because they are rare and some of the parts aren't made anymore.
