 2002 Eclipse Wiring Problem, Back-up lights not working properly

Back-up lights only flash ON when manual shift is half engaged in reverse. Once fully engadged they go OFF.

Any clues in what the problem is ?

I did look first but searched on the string ' Backup lights ' and not ' reverse lights '. Any case, thanks. You directed me to the right thread.

No, it's better to research rather than asking a dumb question. PMing another member a specific question is robbing the opportunity for that question to be expressed in an open forum which will lead to more information being available to other members and new members alike.
