Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knows if the 2008 Eclipse GS is flat towable or not? The manual shows that you can tow with the front wheels down, or the back wheels down, but doesn't indicate if you can do it with all 4. I would think you could but I want to be sure.

Does anyone know? And if so, what are the speed/mileage restrictions?

Thanks for any help.

Anything is flat towable as long as you properly connect the car.

I'm talking about possible transmission damage when flat towing. I know some cars are not flat towable because the engine is not properly lubricated when turned off.

If the owners manual says the car can be towed with the front wheels on the ground there shouldn't be any problem towing the car with all 4 wheels on the ground. I personally would tow it with all the wheels off the ground but that is just me.

Its right in the manual if you have one. I don't or I'd tell you.
