I am trying to figure out if the cut off switch has been activated, which is causing my car not to start.

Can someone tell me the location on a 1997 3000GT SOHC engine?

Thanks,

An easy way to tell if you have fuel is to crank on the engine, throw the throttle to the floor for a split second and turn it off. Pull a spark plug on any cylinder and shine a light down in there. If the top of the piston is moist, you have fuel and your next step is to check for spark. My guess is a blown set of coils...BUT what do i know?? i can't figure out my own problems..lol

I hear ya my brotha! Thanks for advise.
I just got back in town, so I guess I will try that troubleshooting suggestion.

I'm trying to figure out if there is any other type of electronic control that could be causing the fuel (that's easy to verify) not to be sent to the fuel injectors.

I know the DOHC have it. just in case you are interested:

Anything else around the manifold can you think of that I could check. The reason I am asking that is, I changed the wires and plugs, and I am wondering if I could have knocked something loose. I am going to go back and check my work again, although, as I stated earlier, I do see spark coming out of each spark plug wires (test set inserted in the wire).

I wish I never did both of the jobs at the same time. I should have done the timing belt first, and then tackled the plug and cable installation.
