Stop driving that car immediately.

How do you know there are metal shavings? do you have the oil pan off the car?

What engine do you have?

You can get the oil pump gears for about $40 each.

Tell me more about what happened.

Where are you located?

I already stopped drivin it awhile ago as soon as it happened basically the main bearing is finito and right before it went it left me a crapload of tiny metal shavings

specs- its 1991 dodge stealth/es with dohc and the oil pan isnt off of it yet i'm gonna pull out the motor and put it on the motor stand and go to work it was having blow by and getting gas in the oil because of the cylinder rings so those are getting replaced also
i live in tampa florida where'd ypu find those gears at and can i buy em cuz the car needs it bad
