so i was trying to set up some foglights on my rs...it didnt come stock with them so i had no switch so i tryed to splice the harness connecteor for the fogs and my gauge cluster blew out.... i have no tach no speedo no trip no check engine light srs light seatbelt light......door ajar works blinker arrow light up the back lights all work that orangeish color.......what i want to know is there a fuse for the gauges...i checked countinuity on the interior fuses and there good....help me please

Splicing random wires sounds like a good way to encourage a dash fire.

i wasn't splicein random wires i have a pin out for the fog light connector...i cut the wires and they accidently touched shorting out

Did you check the fuses under the hood then?

i checked them out quick but im not sure what fuse could contrubiute to my gauges...unless its a relay

when i check continuity on the interior fuses dvom said that they all were good but when i pulled them out one was blown and slighly touching makeing a connection but couldnt flow the current.....stupid 10amp fuse

You removed all of the wiring you did for the fogs before changing fuses right?

the wires i had stripped i just cut back and electrical taped over all the ends real well....i ran the fogs off my parking lights in a series circuit soldered the wires elecrtical taped..heat shrinked and siliconed so no moisture could get in.....
