If i put a 2 and a half in. pipe on my 03 Mitsu eclipse GT will it throw any codes ?
My buddy just put 2 in. on his and i was wondering if 2 and a half would throw any.

it shouldn't, unless you are thinking of going with 2.5" straight pipes. then yes it will throw a code. if you get a wideband O2 sensor, then possibly not.

Most cat back exhaust systems won't throw a code. If you swap out the cat for a test pipe, you'll throw a code.
