i have got a 2.6 lt manual 1990 model magna and i dont know where the engine number is there is no plate on firewall with engine number on it
there is a number (5 digits) under the date of manufacture stamp any help would be appreciated

If there is no plate on teh firewall , its stamped on the side of teh engine block / i wanna say left side. Some of them are on teh side of the block right at the end near were the engine bolts ot the engine.

on the TP 1990 2.6 astron
the engine number is just above the alternator

stamped into the block should have a V prefix
