QUOTE(GunsmythKustums @ Jun 15 2008, 05:39 AM) I see so many products for the GT, GS, etc. but i never see anything for an RS 4cyl. any help on what to look for or where to find them would be appreciated. The RS and GS have the same exact motor. As far as body modifications, etc.. ALL trim Eclipse's are the same on the exterior (00-05 GS, RS, GT, and GTS) I offer some products as well. http://store.sc-customs.com

QUOTE(silver03GS @ Jun 16 2008, 06:07 AM) Not exactly, the 00-02 had a different front bumper and different taillights than 03-05. Not to mention that the GT and GTS had different side skirts than the RS and GS. Unless you're talking about aftermarket parts, then they might all fit no matter what trim you have, but stock they aren't the same. Sorry if I seem a little picky but just thought it needed to be pointed out. I'm talking in regards to overall aftermarket. But yes, the 00-02 vs 03-05 is a difference front bumper (cosmetic), but same mounting points. The GT and GTS had OEM sideskrts and the RS, GS did not - however, the body is the same and those sideskirts just mount directly on. If an aftermarket bodykit is purchased, it will be the same for all 00-05, unless its a lip kit you will want to specify 00-02 or 03-05 for the front bumper.

Yea that's the only thing I was making sure on. Cause I figured they bolt right up it's just the RS/GS came without them. But aftermarket body upgrades are "universal fit" if you will. As long as we're on the same page now.

QUOTE(GunsmythKustums @ Jun 18 2008, 03:31 AM) thanx guys. i have another question.. I know that upgrades for the EVO 7 engine will fit on my engine according to another thread. But what about the EVO 8? what is the difference between those engines and upgrades? anyway i am kinda a newb with powertrain. i am more style and audio oriented. my "gear head" friend died. so now i am trying to cover for him. oh yeah. one more thing...anyone know of a place where i can get a suicide door kit from? in reference to your EVO 8 question. the EVO 4-9 has the exact same engines. their engine the engine mods through out these years if any fit the Eclipse they all should. the EVO 10 is the year they produced a new engine for the EVO. before that they were all called the 4G63t. even the EVO 1-3's had the 4G63 engine, but they were opposite orientation which is why some of the parts don't fit to the 4G64. as far as websites go, price matching is not always the best, especially with a mod like suicide doors. you need to find out the best kind of metal used on these kits, and also the best kind of procedure to do it. suicide doors is not just a bolt on kit as far as i know. you will have to remove door internals and switch them from left side to right side and vise versa, also welding experience is a must. remembering that you have to first strip the area where the welding points are of paint. then you have to worry about prep and repainting these parts. suicide doors are a lot more difficult, and possibly more expensive than buying the nice 1200 dollar bolt on kit for lambo doors. i would advise against trying to do them, at least until you know more than just the mechanical aspects of car modifying!
