I just recently bought a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse. This is the second eclipse that I've purchased. (first one I wrecked). Anyway to my problem. The previous owner said while he was installing a stereo. He shorted somthing out behind the dash. The digital clock on the dash doesn't work. The power locks dont work unless the key is in the on position. The emergency flashers dont work unless the key is in the on position. The sunroof doesn't work at all.

Can somone give me ideas of whats wrong and how to fix?

I think you direct standby power fuse has blow. please check your power distribution fuse box and replace the blow fuse.

well i checked the fuses....... only one 10 amp mini fuse was blown and i replaced it....... now everything works properly except for the emergency flashers. aren't those supposed to work regardless if the key is in the ignition or not?
