I bought a moded out EVO 8 MR with 9500 miles on it. I just hit 16,000 and the transmission is gone. It started with 4th and went to 6th and now the clutch is gone and Im not getting any help from Mitsubishi in any way???
I was told by Mitsubishi "Subsequent owners receive the balance of
coverage remaining under the 5-years/60,000 miles
"New Vehicle Limited Warranty". The local dealership said it has been moded and we cannot and will not help you????? Any help would be greatly used. Oni

273 cams, full computer flash, 255 walbro fuel pump, ACT EVO Street Disc Clutch Kit, Gredy 3" turbo back with test pipe, AMS intercooler, 18" PIAA race light rims. This is from the guy who built it, and the former owner. Oni.

There must have been some serious abuse to blow up that clutch and tranny with those mods. You are SOL.

Mitsu will warranty something when it breaks due to a parts failure.

this is just outright abuse from modification.
