this is one of those type of problems that when you ask it is kind of a in the dark guess as to what your problem is. if you could take a video with sound and post a link to where you share it, we could better help your situation.

as far as what i would guess here is my answer, well your intake scoop is probably missing the two mounting bolts and once you hit high rpm your scoop probably moves and sucks less air in. (which would explain the noise, Choking basically, and the torque drop)

whatever you used sea foam for. as you said, "i'm flabergasted" what did you use sea foam for?

I believe Seafoam makes Fuel Injector Cleaner, Oil Treatment, and Gas Treatment type stuff. I'm sure they make more but that's what I know for sure they make.

And I think you're right on your shot in the dark guess. Or it could be like when I had the problem on my car, all it was was there was a small stick caught in the piping and when I hit high RPM's it lost a ton of power. But a video would help.

Ill resurrect this post, just had it start happening last night. I have taken off the air ducts and filter housing to clean it out. Prolly need to double check that. Never had it happen before. On top of it I broke off the two clips that hold the air duct intake to the radiator support. Guess ill replace those and retest. Gotta love having to beat on your car in order to see if something is fixed lol. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Those 2 clips being broken by themselves will cause that problem cause it's moving around all the time and when you're at high RPM's it's sitting too far up and back for any air to get to it properly. That can cause you're problem right there and it's easy and cheap to fix.

everytime this happens, its very common and the only thing doing this is the AIR intake.. so start by checking the bolts, if they're loose or one is broken, then open it, check ur filter, if theres anything stuck through the tubes going into the engine...

Well now I feel dumb, yes the two clips holding the air intake to the radiator support were the culprits. Put new clips in. Now she flies again all the way to 6500 rpm where the rev limiter kicks on, thats the next attack. What a day... Thank you everyone for your help.
