I just found this today. Thought I'd share with my ppls here...

Some parts from Japan. Not sure what the lead times are on these parts, but there are some pretty nice things to buy and accent your car.

Prices are a little steep, but whatever.

Take a looksy.

Those prices are steep... even for us clowns, right FMP? :D I REALLY want those projectors though. My birthday is June 30th... anybody want to buy me a nice gift? :D

But seriously though, why is it so expensive? The HID upgrade for the Evo comes with HIDs and projectors... and the cost doesn't even come close to what japan parts is asking for JUST the headlight housing with projectors (no HIDs). And I could only dream what they would charge for shipping.

What really confuses me is that the prices are all in Japanese Yen... but the website is a .com indicating it's a US site. Japan would be .co.jp

I SAY IT'S A SCAM! BUYER BEWARE :D

I find it hard to believe that an actual JDM retailer would actually call themselves "Japan Parts" let alone use a US based server to host their stuff. All the prices being in Japanese Yen and all the original car names (Galant Fortis)... I say it's all a marketing ploy. Anybody else notice that even though the prices are all in Japanese Yen, the entire webpage is coded... in ENGLISH?!? O_O

Somebody is buying this stuff from a real JDM retailer and selling it with a huge mark up. That's my $0.02 though.

I will probably be the ginnea pig on the Japan Parts site, we'll see.... but something else I found while lurking on the net.

EURO LANCER CATALOG

Its in Dutch, couldn't find any english (version) ones.... sorry.

I'm liking the fog light rings, never understood why we didn't get that (AT LEAST) on the GTS version, but I'll probably gasp at the price tag on them.

Aveitazen!!

If you go to the Japanparts.com website and click "how to order", there are Japanese based phone numbers as a point of contact, but no physical addresses. I know some shops in California keep their address private for different reasons, so although it's still suspect, nothing too out of the ordinary.

Just seems like this company is using a U.S server and jap based currency to "ridiculously" mark up JDM prices for us folks in North America. That's probably why it's in english.

With that Dutch site it has all the part numbers. I wonder if going to a Mitsubishi dealer in the states with a part number if they can get what you need. I really want a few things for my white lancer.

Hopefully, cuz I would like to buy some things too.

Yeah, its weird how a few small touches can make your car stand out. Well in America at least because the other places have this stuff already.

How come the English version of the Dutch version Catalog doesn't have the chrome outline for the lower grill? Or the 19" wheels?

Hmmmm.... conspiracy, perhaps??

Those 19 inch rims are SICK!!!! I am sure they cost big bucks then tires ontop of them. I wish I had the case to buy them along with a few other things.
