My wife and I recently bought an '07 Eclipse Spyder GS and it did not have an owner's manual included. We ordered one from our local dealer and it came back as the manual for an '06 Eclipse. The guy there double checked and said that Mitsubishi claims this is the only manual for '06 and up Eclipses regardless of model. I called Mitsubishi and was told the same thing. If this is the case how will I learn more about the convertible top mechanism and other features the Spyder has to offer? For instance, a salesman at that dealership told me of a way to open/close the top manually if ever needed. A manual describing things like this would be nice. Thanks for any info. Later!

Where did you buy the car from? Providing a manual should be their responsibility.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah even though the car was slightly used we told them a manual should be included. They said for us to drop off a receipt after we found one and they would reimburse us with no problem. The manual was only $30, but like I stated has no info regarding the convertible top. From all the info I've looked into there is no manual specifically for the Spyder. Just like I was told by Mitsubishi the manual I have is for ALL Eclipses '06 and up. I guess I'll have to tinker with the car and see if I find anything new. A salesman at one lot told me how the top can be raised/lowered manually if needed, but that's all he said. Thanks anyway. Later!
