I know this is completely random, but I am sure that I am not the first person who may or may not have wanted to do this. I currently have a stock 2002 Lancer ES Automatic. I was wondering if there was ANY way possible to drop a Manual engine into my lancer and how much it might cost to do. Thank you for the help.

i wanted to do the same thing with the past two automatics i had lol... it will be a LOT of money (especially in labor) to do a swap, but if you are mechanically inclined and have access to a shop you might be able to find a manual trans out of a wrecked lancer and use that. if nothing else maybe try looking for a cheap-ish lancer that's manual and sell your current one, though that would probably be just as much of a hassle.

regardless, good luck.
