I have a 2002 eclipse and it won't run and throwing the cam sensor code. where is the cam sensor and how hard is it to change? the shop wants 200 just for labor. I am not too familiar with this engine I am used to workin on hondas. I know I know. I just need to get this thing running though cause it is my only car. Any help with pics or anything would be much appreciated. Thanks guys!

ok, but please go back into your profile and add your trim style to your vehicle. i mean ok you have a 2002 eclipse, but what kind of eclipse is it? RS, GS, GT, GTS. oh and is it a automatic or manual.

here goes. if you have a V6 you need to replace your distributor as an assembly.

if you have a 4 cylinder its a little different. 1. remove the intake box and hose. 2. remove the 2 bolts that holds in the cam angle sensor. then replace.

i can't give you the location on the cam angle sensor as my car is at work with my wife. but both processes are easy enough you should be able to do it yourself with very little problems.

remember define what you drive in your profile better that way when people want to help you they don't have to ask. you'll get quicker responses that way.
