I have a 98 Chariot Grandis Super Exceed 2.4 GDI.

On Sunday 15.06.08 I got a call from the wife telling me that the car would not start, upon inspection I found that the battery was flat. Got some one to give me a jump start and drove the car home.

The battery was taken out put on test, and found to have a faulty cell.

a new battery was put in the car 2 days later and it started normally.

I now have several problems that I need help with.

Problems are:

1: the key fob no longer works the central locking (battery has been checked and is ok) when I put the key in the lock and do it manually the central locking doesnt work, I have tried sitting in the car and manually locking all the doors (with the lock lever) but when I lock the drivers door (it whirs and unlocks itself and all the other doors).

2: my MMCS screen is black (eg no power) when I turn on the power to the radio by pushing the knob I can hear power coming from the speakers but nothing else.

3: I cannot insert a CD into the MMCS unit under the drivers seat as it is dead eg no power.

I have checked/tested all the fuses in the box in the engine bay and the ones under the flap under the dash but none of them seem to have blown.

Other than that the car starts and runs as normal and everything else works.

Any ideas or advice will be greatly appreciated.
