Is this the 4G64? I have a Chariot Grandis(Local model known as nimbus) and the fuel consumption is terrible, but it needs a new engine anyway.

Fuel millage doesn't seem to drastically change between 1g and 2g Outlanders so the numbers keep you in the ball park and there are a few discussions regarding MPG however no one has been this specific. In general however most number I remember seeing have been...

Of course the following number depend on modifications and driving habits which can both greatly effect your milage. And with the 2g Outlanders toggling between 2wd and 4wd will also have an impact.
~26-32MPG highway seems to be a fairly normal ballpark.
~16-20MPG city seems to be common

I can tell you that especially with the 1g that I have it really benefited from a SRI as I jumped from 26-28 to 31-32 on the highway with no change in driving habits. At least changing from the OEM to the K&N air filters can help some.
