hey my girlfriend has a 97 3000gt that had a messed up terminal so i changed it..after changing it and hooking the battery back up the car isnt starting..when you open the door the dash lights blink along with the front corner lights and taillights as if an alarm is going off. the radio and everything else works fine. the only the thing that doesnt work is the ignintion and the lights blinking. Ive looked around and found out that soem of these car came with a factory alarm. is that true?.im lost trying to figure out the problem and that is my only thought, that the alarm/antitheft enabled after the battery was hooked back up and it disabled the ignition. anyone have any idea what to do?

They do come factory stock with an alarm..

this does seem a bit odd..
try taking the terminals off again and putting them back on..
i kno there are some cars that need the computer to be configured again due to disconnecting the battery but i''ve never heard of that problem on a 3kgt..

Check your Starter

well the car was working fine before the terminal was changed and before the battery was disconnected..so whats the possibility that doing that set the stock alarm off and and that now disabled the ignition....the lights also blink as well when u open the door and keep blinking for like 30 seconds...if the alarm is the case does any one know how to disarm is it..she has no remote or anything

well my car is a 92SL
and the only way to disarm the alarm on my car is to simply unlock the door with the key..
just turn it and it should disarm..

Its not a factory alarm then.
