I have a 2000 Space Wagon GDI with 48000 miles on the clock. It has been regularly serviced and has recently had a good flush and new plugs. It is reluctant to tickover smoothly when cold and will sometimes stall. The idle speed seems low 500RPM or less. The performance is OK and the MPG can be as hich as 38 on a run. I have always run it on high octane petrol (non supermarket) Hopefully it isnt the usual spacewagon problem. What else could it be? Fuel filter? Is there a cold start module? Advice please, I don't want to give the dealer £100s !!
