Hi,
To make a long story short, I test drove an '09 Lancer a couple weeks back and wasn't too pleased with the pricing numbers given by the dealer cause they seemed a little high. I did some research and went around looking at other vehicles but now find myself still wanting the Lancer.

My only question that I hope some people can help with is if Mitsubishi is planning on having a SUMMER Sale or Promotional Event any time soon.

I know other car manufacturers/dealers have begun a summer sale of some sort and I just wanted to know if Mitsubishi will follow suit in which case I'd be willing to wait a couple more weeks if needed. Otherwise I know I will be purchasing a Lancer very soon.
I live in the northern suburbs of CHICAGO fyi.

I am not aware of any sale....but since your around the Chi town....& if you don't mind doing a little driving....South Suburban Mitsu in Monee was a great place to go to. My salesman Dennis Miller...no not the comedian....was straight up honest & no jerkin around. The sales manager Lee was also top notch. Though he does look like Mr. Roper from 3's Company...no joke...kinda funny when you see him.
Service department is also tops. They are a smaller dealership & they give you the small town treatment....where they know your name & are always friendly..blah, blah, blah.
I told them the price that I wanted & they agreed & whola.
If you want...give them a call Monday 708-534-0611 & ask for Dennis. Mention my name Adam that bought the 08 Rally Red car (I'll give you my last name if you want it) & I get like $50 for the referal, which in turn I would give to you. Heck...that would be good for you...buy some gas w/ it, money towards a mod...whatever.
I tried all the other places around my house & they were all a bunch of jerks.
Oh this car is HOT....can't go any lower than ......., or this is the last one like this area...won't get any more in for months. You know the deal......

I do not work for them. I was just that impressed with them. I have bought ALOT of cars & this place treated me better than any place I have bought from. This is why I am refering them to you. I am checking out their site now & their prices are off...they show pics of their cars & t a pic of the window sticker....don't know why the 1st GTS listed says the price is $15175.00 when the window sticker says $20K+

But you'll get the idea. They show 7 GTS's, but I am sure that they have more than what is showing.

Thank you for that insight. The dealer is quite a bit away from me since I'm in Lake County but it's worth visiting for a great price. As of now, that one seems more promising than my local Mistubishi Dealer. Perhaps I'll give South Suburban a try.
