new to this posted it once but on welcom page so will try here,cat has gone on my L200 have been told by exhaust garage to bypass,asked the teting station they said no probs with emissions but just worried it willscrew with my ecu any one know if it will or wont!

the ECU readings will be the same
unless the O2 sensor is in the catalytic converter (cat)

before removing or replacing the cat
find out where the 02 sensor is

Yeah if we knew the year we can help , but just stating L200 will not help anything. If yu have upstream and downstream sensor , i can tell by the year. But if its just one before the catalytic or close it will have to be reposition.
