i have a 1991 mitsubishi 3000gt vr4, and i am in need of a egr temp sensor, but i am not able to find one for my car... my mechanic says that they have been disciontinued. have any of you guys had this problem, if so do you have any suggestions? thanks...

Call a dealership. Or get EGR block off plates and be done with the whole EGR system.

BTW you can't always take your mechanics word when it comes to VR4's... you'll learn this very quickly.

Alright thanks. Will the EGR Block off plate allow it to pass smog? I live in California, and I looked into that, but the part i looked at had a warning that it might not allow it to pass smog. Would you suggest the Block off plate though over putting a EGR temp sensor back in there?

No, if your worried about passing smog you need that in working order.
