hey man i think i can help you a little bit on this. however after this try reading up on this first link that way you can read up on information without having to ask someone about something that has already been covered before. not that reposting the same topic is bad, but it gets out of control sometimes.

http://www.mitsubishi-forums.com/t36881-ho...-get-flamed.htm

there is topic located on the top of the 3G eclipse forum that shows you a lot about what head you can use. basically it says 4G63t head will mount to the 4G64. you have to have a few holes plugged though, having a machine shop make the plugs and insert them as needed would be your best bet. here is the link to the topic about the EVO head/motor swap. it has both in there.

http://www.mitsubishi-forums.com/t4769-3g-...information.htm

also here is another topic that may be helpful as what is needed to do the EVO head swap.

http://www.mitsubishi-forums.com/t9742-4g6...l-is-needed.htm

here is two more that will help you with pictures and listed miscellaneous parts that you will need to do the swap, these pictures and explanations are however of a pre 95 galant 4G64 blocks a 90-94 eclipse turbo head and a 95-99 eclipse turbo head. opposite orientation, you'll understand why i say this once you read up on the evo head/motor swap topic. these last two links were shown to me for my own questions of the same thing you are looking to do. Thanks Rob, you really are like a miniature Buddha for cars! (miniature because you don't weigh 600 LBS.)

using a 1G head
http://www.4g64.com/users/raycer97/1g_parts.htm

using a 2G head
http://www.4g64.com/users/raycer97/2g_parts.htm

anyways i hope that will answer any question you have 03clypse.

remember to take your time reading each topic as speeding through it may cause massive confusion and trust me on this kind of modification. being confused is the last place you'd want to start with.

hey btw 4g64.com is a 2g website. its not refering to 3gs. the 1g and 2g head swap they are talking about on there is doing a 4g63 head on the 420a neon motor which comes in some 2gs. if a 2g is boosted, it has a 4g63..and if a 2g is n/a it has 420a neon motor or 4g64 dohc.

The N/A coupes had the 420a in them, the Spyders from 97-99 had a 4g64 in them.
