QUOTE(Payam81 @ Jun 24 2008, 12:22 AM) I remember I read a TSB on my Benz that was exactly about condensation in the mirror turn signal. I know it's not exactly apples to apples but in the TSB it said it's absolutely normal and it goes away once it gets warmer and that if any Dealers changed the part they would not be reimbursed for it as it's not a warrantable fault. Hope this helps. Actually it does help. I took a look at the fog light last night and the condensation is gone, but now I have all these little spots on the inside from the dried up water. My only real concern now is cleaning it and preventing it from happening again... and cleaning inside of enclosed spaces is so time consuming. Blah...

QUOTE(freakingwilly @ Jun 23 2008, 06:35 PM) Seriously I really don't. How would I go about removing the condensation and preventing it from ever returning? Thanks in advance! :460: I had the same issue w/ my 08 Lancers left headlight.... My diagnosis is.... call the dealer and tell them about it. I did w/ my headlight issue, and they replaced the left & right housings for $0.00 The problem has never reoccurred.

QUOTE(rox @ Jun 25 2008, 10:40 AM) I get condensation in mine sometimes as well. Especially when I'm washing the car. There is a rubber seal that goes around the reflector, that one is pretty solid and should not be letting moisture in. There is a vent on top of the casing, but it's small and I don't think that would let anything in either. I think there might be a seal issue with the glass front which is attached to the casing (housing). I never took that part off so I'm not sure how it's sealed which is why I'm picking on that. Your bulbs probably wouldn't burst unless you got a lot of water in there. A bit of condensation on the glass shouldn't be a problem. humm you meant plastic right? I miss the old headlights made of real glass! The lenses would never dull or chip so easy as the polycarbonate housings :( The best headlights in my book are from the early 90 Accords: Clear lens reflective with actual glass lens! I think that was the first passenger car in the US with reflective clear lens housing actually.
